CrumpNet is my personal technology site for homelab projects, infrastructure notes, and practical IT documentation. It serves as a companion to this site with detailed write-ups of the projects below.

Homelab Infrastructure

A personal lab environment that mirrors and extends concepts from my professional work, including:

  • Hyper-V and Linux server virtualization

PKI Lab
#

A two-tier Microsoft certificate authority built to understand certificate services in depth — covering offline root CA design, CRL publishing, certificate templates, and internal trust chain management. Directly relevant to the PKI work I handle professionally.

Monitoring and Logging
#

Monitoring and visibility implementations using Zabbix for infrastructure health and Wazuh for security event collection across Windows, Linux, and network devices.
